Motor idling. Low, repetitive rumbling of a gator (utility vehicle, like a working-man's golf cart) idling outside, taken from on the tractor itself with a zoom h2 in 120* pattern.

The entrance / exit of this parking garage is a slope, so drivers have to drive hard against it in order to reach the street level. Recorded with schoeps cmc6 mk41 into sound devices 633.

While i was recording someone sharpening a garden scrape on a dual stone grinding machine, the utensil got stuck between one of the stones and a metal protective bracket, creating a terrifying noise until the motor gives up. The "concrete cello" pack is a collection of scraping, scratchy and droning improvisations on the cello focussing on the creation of sounds to be used as base materials for future compositions. They were originally recorded in 2019 to be used in as sound design elements for the documentary "hotel regina" by director matthias berger for which i composed the music. Car driving on quiet roads at night and sound of indicators used at corners. Background sound effect.

Starting with a couple of blackbirds chatting to one another, their conversation broken by the arrival of a load of people on the monorail. Recorded mid_may at the national motor museum, beaulieu, hampshire, uk on a zoom h5 using custom mics. A 6db/octave high pass at 60hz has been applied.

The sound off my wii starting up, which is a very nostalgic sound for me. Could be used for any kind of machine turning on.

Amount of sounds recorded on the field : a construction site of a power plant where i worked. Sounds of tools and electrical devices, some motors, ventilation, people talking, metallic sounds (pieces of metal structures, doors, pipes which i played drums with), sounds of shoes with rubber outsole. Sounds mostly from the inside and a bit outside. Sometime the quality is not the best as i hid my recorder.

Washing machine sounds or what i have recorded in there lol.

A recording that i did on a shoot for some ambient sound while in a small 10' motor boat. The motor runs for a little while but then turns off and the sound of the boat just floating in the water can be heard. The mic is moved around a bit to get a few samples of different perspectives.
